Hi, I’m Quynh Truong. A graduate from Ewha Womans University interested in gender and queer studies.

About me

I graduated from the Department of International Studies, Ewha Womans University (South Korea) with a summa cum laude degree of Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Law and Diplomacy. I have interdisciplinary research experience across diverse topics including the nexus between public sentiments/opinions and politics/international relations, historical reconciliation and peace building, gender and politics, all with a regional focus in East and Southeast Asia. My current research interest lies at the intersection of gender studies and comparative politics, with a specific focus on the relation between the nation state and compulsory heterosexuality.
